HCSC Starting Ohio Buckeye Sale
The Hoosier Classic Sale Company of Indiana will conduct a second auction beginning in 2015. Company officials have been exploring the idea for several years and with the recent expansion of the Ohio program and the strong neighboring Indiana program, have decided to move ahead with the new venture.
Named the Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale, the auction will take place September 30, 2015 at the Champions Center Expo in Springfield, Ohio and will be open to all yearlings from any state program.
Built in 2004, the Champions Center Expo was constructed for equine shows and sales. Located between Columbus and Dayton OH, it is only 30 minutes from Dayton Raceway. The facility is just a quarter mile from Interstate 70 at Exit 59 at the back of the Clark County Fairgrounds. It has a state of the art stabling area attached to the main arena with additional stalls available close by in shed row barns. The 10x10 stalls are well lite and the barn area is well laid out with all the amenities. A fully staffed eating area is adjacent to the sale arena along with well-maintained restroom facilities.
